The Foundation provided the City of San Bruno with a strategic grant totaling $200,000 to help finance the design and construction of a new park at 324 Florida Avenue, which resides in a neighborhood on the east side of town that currently lacks a neighborhood park.

Progress on the park has been paused while the City seeks additional funding to complete the project. In 2020, the City installed irrigation and grass at the future park site, as an interim measure to open the site to the community.
