With its first strategic grant, the Foundation proudly sponsored San Bruno's 2016 Community Day, which was held on June 5 at San Bruno City Park in conjunction with the San Bruno Lions Club's annual Posy Parade.  The Foundation underwrote the costs of the event with a $30,000 grant.

Thousands of community members convened at San Bruno City Park, enjoying carnival rides, games, music, food booths, baseball games, the Lions Club's classic car show, and a beautiful spring afternoon.  A festive community spirit permeated the park.
